Since this group was formed purely based on our interest, I had expected it to be less challenging. However, we had little disagreements throughout the process of this project, such as our inquiry question and working style. Some of us prefered to use online platforms to discuss, while others prefer to meet face-to-face. To add on, all of us perform better at different times of the day. Therefore, our project discussions were rarely extremely productive.

 

Despite all of these, we were able to discuss and settle on the inquiry question after conducting further research on it. We also gave each other parts and roles to fulfill. This way, we were able to work on our respective tasks at our own time, so that it will be productive and effective.

This was the first time that I’m creating a video. I don’t excel in technical or digital stuffs, therefore I was a little uncertain if the video should be done. However, I gave it a shot anyway because it will be more interesting to present the content via a different media platform. 
 

While creating the video, my mind was filled with a sea of uncertainties and confusion. Thoughts like “I must be careful” kept playing in my head. The different things that can be done in creating a video surprises me and sparked my curiosity. After much exploration about the website, I was finally able to put in the first scene of the video. This went on for a whole day. When the video was completed, I asked around, looking for ways to improve the video and their opinions on the result. 
This experience has definitely allowed me to try something new and something that is out of my usual comfort zone. I was challenged, but my determination of presenting the contents in a different way pushed me stretch my limit and persist.

This journey had brought all of us closer to each other, and I have learnt our differences, similarities and strengths. Most importantly, I have learnt the importance of flexibility. This is crucial especially when working with new people, as we all have different ideas and ways of doing things. Being open-minded and flexible has guided us in this journey, such as taking on other perspectives and other ways of thinking. Regardless, we don’t have do accept, but we have to respect everything.
