At the brainstorming session for the recommendations, we found that the center is somewhat flawless as they provided counterattacks to each issues so we do not really know where to start. Due to this, the project progression was stagnant and the timeline was messed up. We could have finished it within 2/3 days but it requires about a weeks' time to finish.
This caused me to be very frustrated and stressed during that period of time because we would have to catch up afterwards. Hence, I tried to come up with ideas quickly but to no avail as most of them were not sustainable. However, when I observe my group members, even though they also seem to feel frustrated, they do not rush to come up with ideas. I realized that they 'take it slow and steady' in a sense whereby even though we do not have much time, they ensure that whatever ideas they give are one that is well-thought and usable. I felt that this taught and reminded me of the phrase "quality over quantity" and I learnt that I have to keep calm and remain clear-minded so that my work would result in a efficient one.
Not only that, during the discussion for the final recommendations, I came to recognize the importance of clarity in communication. To cut the story short, the explanation of why a booklet for our recommendations is not needed was not clear enough so it caused the group to be very confused. So I feel that it is really important to get your message across with clarity to prevent any confusion, misunderstanding or tension.
All in all, I appreciate working with my group members as it helps to edify me as a person, allowing me to reflect on what I'm lacking in and what areas of improvement I need.
